Auditions for Come Together: A Community Showcase

We’re thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming community variety show, "Come Together." We can’t wait to showcase the incredible talent in the Northern Hills area, and we hope you’ll audition to be part of a celebration that highlights the best performances our community has to offer!

What Kind of Acts Are We Looking For?

We're inviting performers of all kinds! Whether you're a singer, dancer, magician, comedian, pianist, or instrumentalist, we want to see your act!

Audition Details

  • Date: November 20 & 21
  • Time: 7 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Location: Homestake Opera House located at 313 W. Main Street in Lead, SD.

Important Information

  • Performances of Come Together will be January 16-19, 2025. Anyone auditioning must be available on those dates in order to be a part of this show.
  • While there will be very few rehearsals for this show, all performers must be available for 3 tech/dress rehearsals :Monday, January 13, Tuesday, the 14th and Wednesday, the 15th.
  • All performers will need to bring any equipment necessary to perform their act to auditions.
  • Singers: Please bring your own background track and come prepared to perform. You may also audition acapella if you wish.

Have Questions? Here Are Answers to Some Common Ones:

1. Who can audition?
Anyone with a talent to share! We welcome singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, pianists, instrumentalists, and all types of performers.

2. Are you accepting both group and solo auditions?
YES! In fact, we are hoping to have a mix of solo acts and group performances. So whether you plan to audition on your own or get a few people together, we are so excited to see what you can do!

3. Do I need to register in advance of auditions?
Registration is not required, but it’s a good idea to arrive early to auditions!

4. How long should my audition be?
Please keep your audition to 5 minutes or less to ensure everyone has a chance to perform. If you think this will be an issue, please reach out to Debbie Minter at sk8bug77@yahoo.com so that you make an alternative plan.

5. What should I bring to the audition?
Anything you need to perform! If you’re a singer, remember to bring your own background track.

6. Is there an age limit for performers?
No! Performers of all ages are welcome to audition.
